Amanda Combs


Amanda Combs, one of the 2014 - 2015 NEF Scholarship winners is pursuing her MSN degree at the University of Arkansas in the Medical Science College of Nursing. She plans to use her scholarship to further her plans to be an adult gerontology nurse practitioner (ANP/GNP) and eventually wants to earn a DNP degree. Amanda began her nursing career as an intensive care unit (ICU) nurse caring for adults and now plans to specialize in managing the long term care of aging adults. Ms. Combs combines her studies with caring for her two beautiful daughters.

Support a Graduate Nurse’s Education

NEF’s only purpose is to provide nursing scholarship assistance to make graduate level nursing education possible. NEF is the largest, single, private, professionally endorsed source of funds for advanced nursing study with over one hundred years of service to and for professional nursing.

NEF’s Board of Directors is comprised of leaders from nursing, education, technology, and business communities. Members donate their time and talent to the advancement of the nursing profession.
