Isabel Hampton Robb award winner, Rebecca West, did her undergraduate and graduate (Masters) work at the University of Illinois. Rebecca feels that clinical research in mindfulness is a new and growing field and she wants to grow with it. She became an ANCC board-certified family nurse practitioner and treats clients across the lifespan at a rural clinic in Illinois while pursuing her Doctorate at the University of Wisconsin (where she considers herself a “commuting, non-traditional student. After graduation she will continue her research and work in the field of “mind-body” health.
