Larry Siegel served for over 20 years at New York University in a series of management and development positions, including Assistant Dean for External Affairs at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development; Senior Director of University Campaigns in the Office for Development; Executive Director of Development at NYU Medical Center; and Director of Development for the NYU College of Nursing. In these capacities, he led fundraising drives for nursing related to scholarships, community-based programs and the Nursing College's new building on First Avenue in Manhattan.
Larry received a BS degree from Cornell University as well as law and business degrees from Columbia University. His career has focused largely on the not-for-profit sector in such positions as Program Officer for Justice at the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation; Executive Director of the Consumer Policy Institute for Consumers Union of America; and Vice President for Institutional Advancement at the United Way of New York City.
He received the Distinguished Administrator Award from New York University.
Larry and his wife Pat live in Great Neck, N.Y. and have two daughters and four grandchildren.

NEF’s only purpose is to provide nursing scholarship assistance to make graduate level nursing education possible. NEF is the largest, single, private, professionally endorsed source of funds for advanced nursing study with over one hundred years of service to and for professional nursing.
NEF’s Board of Directors is comprised of leaders from nursing, education, technology, and business communities. Members donate their time and talent to the advancement of the nursing profession. NEF operates with exceptionally low overhead. NEF employs only one individual who serves in several capacities. NEF is a non-profit organization with 501(c) status; thus, your contributions are fully tax-deductible.
