Giving Opportunities for Organizations

For over 100 years, NEF has furthered its mission to promote leadership and health equity by awarding nearly 1,500 scholarships to professional nurses pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees in nursing education, practice, service, and research. We invite nursing schools, alumni associations, nursing organizations and associations, small businesses, and corporations to join us in supporting nurse leaders through a Scholarship, Annual, or Gala Sponsorship.

Scholarship Sponsorship

$50,000 creates a permanent scholarship in the name of your choosing, which is granted annually to your named NEF Scholar, in perpetuity.

Additional Benefits:

• Six-month feature on NEF’s homepage
• Perpetual inclusion on NEF’s scholarship list on website
• Feature in NEF email newsletter
• Participation in Gala remarks in the year of gift
• Mention during Scholar Celebration in the year of gift

A scholarship fund may be initiated with a commitment to fundraise $50,000 within five years to create a permanent scholarship.

Annual Sponsorship

$10,000 entitles organizations to receive the following benefits over the course of the year:

• One-month feature on NEF’s homepage, continued on NEF’s News webpage
• Sponsor logo included in six (6) email newsletters and on sponsors webpage
• Feature story in NEF email newsletter
• Social media feature (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn)
• Recognition as an NEF Annual Sponsor at the Gala and Scholar Celebration
  
  

Gala Sponsorships

Each spring, the NEF Gala Reception takes place at the Columbus Citizens Foundation Townhouse in New York City to celebrate that year’s scholars, new scholarships, and the organization’s supporters. Gala sponsorship levels and benefits are:

• Sapphire Sponsor - $10,000
  • Entry for 10 guests to the event
  • Recognition in Gala remarks
  • Feature on NEF’s social media channels
• Amethyst Sponsor - $7,500: entry for 8 guests to the event
• Ruby Sponsor - $5,000: entry for 6 guests to the event
• Topaz Sponsor - $2,500: entry for 4 guests to the event

All Gala sponsorships also receive these benefits:

• Name printed in the Gala invitation (must meet deadline)
• Recognition on screen at the event and in the printed program
• Name included in Gala sponsor list on the home page of NEF’s website (for ~2 months)
• Name promoted on NEF’s social media channels

Champion

NEF Champions are donors with a deep commitment to the nursing profession and the ongoing efforts of NEF to increase scholarships for nursing master’s and doctoral degrees. By contributing $5,000 or more in a calendar year, you join NEF’s Circle of Champions.

Benefits:

• Recognition on NEF’s Champion webpage (Champions who donate another $5,000+ in the future will be recognized with an asterisk by their name to signify they are a repeat donor.)
• Recognition as an NEF Champion at the NEF Gala Reception
• Two complimentary gala tickets in the year of the Champion gift
• Feature in NEF’s social media (if desired)
