Christina M. Kirk


Christina Kirk is a research specialist in the Nursing Research and Education Department at the City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, CA. She has been an Oncology nurse for the past 6 years. Christina received her Associate's Degree from Cypress College and then received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from California State University, Fullerton. She has also completed the first year of graduate school at UCLA School of Nursing in the Master's Degree program. Her plans include a specialty as an Oncology Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist. Christina is currently the project director for the Nursing Wellness Program, Self-Care Strategies for Oncology Professionals. This course is an evidence-based nursing wellness program. In the future, Christina would like to work with Cancer patients helping them to manage symptoms and improve their quality of life.
