Hayley Eichlin

2014-2015 Winner | Master’s Degree Scholarship

Hayley Eichlin, NEF Scholarship award winner, developed an early interest in nursing after hearing a family friend talk about her experiences as a labor and delivery nurse. Hayley earned her BSN at Drexel University and went to work in the neonatal/infant intensive care unit at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. While continuing her work there, she returned to graduate school and is currently pursuing an MSN at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, planning to become a women’s health nurse practitioner. She intends to educate women on the importance of prenatal care and its health promoting effect on neonatal outcomes.

NEF’s only purpose is to provide nursing scholarship assistance to make graduate level nursing education possible.
