I, Tatyana Grimaylo, was born on the 20th of February, 1978 in Ukraine, former USSR. I immigrated to the US together with my parents in 1997 when I was 18 years old. We came directly to Boston area, where I have lived for the last eleven years. I started Salem State College within a few months of my arrival to the country. After two years of undergraduate studying at Salem State, I transferred to Northeaster University, from which I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2002. I worked as a Registered Nurse at New England Baptist Hospital and as a Medical Intensive Care Unit RN at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center before I was accepted into Boston College Graduate School of Nursing. I am currently enrolled in the second year of the Nurse Anesthesia track as a full- time student.
